For yet another off-season period, the very succesfull promotion of the Hungarian National Tourist Office will await travellers again in dozens of Budapest hotels.

During the remaining days of the autumn, all of the winter months, and the first weeks of spring, many accommodations will take part in the Budapest Winter Invasion campaign. It might not be the perfect timing for hanging out in outdoor cafés or sightseeing by open-top buses, but there are plenty of things that can compensate for those.
For starters there’s the bonus night, in addition to the already very cheap room rates: if you stay for 3 or 4 nights, the last one is free of charge. Then participating hotels offer one free adult day pass per person to one of the historical thermal spas of Budapest (Gellert, Lukacs, Rudas or Szechenyi Bath), as well as 20-50% discounts for tourist programs (hop-on hop-off city tour, sightseeing by boat, admission to Aquaworld water theme park).

The campaign will be valid until the end of March 2014 and rooms can be booked online for any of the participating hotels – guests will get a confirmation of the discounted price (either one bonus night or a 25% or 33% discount, depending on the length of the stay), then upon arrival they will be given a booklet that contains coupons for each of the services included in the price.
