+ location (we could walk to all the central major attractions); facilities in the room (free and unlimited internet; free iron & ironing board, hairdryer; ability to make your own tea/coffee, cook food, store in fridge etc; good bathroom & hot water; very helpful staff. - traffic noise; twin beds pushed together is uncomfortable for a couple; no breakfast included; only English channel on TV was CNN...otherwise everything was excellent. In general we were very pleased with our choice. It's a very plain hotel and the room and furniture were not attractive but we knew that beforehand and went for price in relation to location. It's bigger and better equipped than rooms in expensive hotels where you can't make yourself a cup of tea to have in bed, or have free internet, or iron your clothes. We didn't need a pool, spa etc. The only real disappointment was traffic noise but we slept surprising well anyway; others might not. I did not try their food so I only picked average as a kind of 'not applicable' - it may well have been fine but we wanted to eat out and bring delicacies home with us to store in the fridge, which was nice to be able to do.
