Hungarian Academy of SciencesV. Roosevelt tér 19 Tram: 2 Bus: 16 The oldest and most significant building on Roosevelt Square. Its perfect neo-Renaissance design came from the studio of Berlin architect Stüler, and it was built between 1862-64. The grand gala hall decorated with pictures by Károly Lotz is also used for staging concerts. There are lecture and session rooms, and a valuable scientific library.
