Miskolc is the largest city of the northeastern region in Hungary, the seat of Borsod-Abauj-Zemplen county. It is located east of the Buk Mountain, in the valley of the Szinva, Hejo and Sajo rivers.
The Garanda Stream was padded to form the Hamori Lake, which draws visitors all year around with its natural beauty. Boating and fishing is available. A nice pathway goes around the lake.
