Zsira - Rimanoczy-Castle
The Rimanoczy-Castle is located in the village of Zsira, by the Repce River in western Hungary, 17km from Koszeg, and 12km from the spa town of Bukfurdo, close to the Austrian border. The castle, surrounded by a nice park, has a romantic atmosphere.
The Baroque-style castle was built in the 1730�s. Walls in the salon and in the library are decorated with wooden plates, while pictures above the doors feature kings, queens and noblemen of the era. Today, the building is used as a retirement home.
