Miskolc is the largest city in Northeastern Hungary, located at the eastern slopes of the Buk Mountain, with the highest-laying part, Lillafured, stretching into the hights of the hill. The natural beauty of the region draws many visitors. Apart from the waterfall in Lillafured, the St. Stephan Dripstone Cave and the Szeleta Cave are the most prominent sites.
The St. Stephan Dripstone Cave is situated on Elisabeth Avenue in Lillafured. The total length of the cave is 800 metres, about half of which can be visited, every day from 9am until 5pm during the summer season, and 4pm during the winter.
